REVEREND MALCOLM OLIVER
Malcolm came to Birmingham as our minister on 1st September 2016. Malcolm has two grown up children and twin daughters who attend a local infant school.
Malcolm is married to Gina who is a nurse. Malcolm and his family have recently been in Mozambique for three years as mission partners. Malcolm trained for the Methodist Ministry at Wesley College in Bristol and was ordained in Zambia. He enjoys spending time with family and hill walking. He has been a minister in Manchester, South Birmingham and Northampton where he was also a secondary school chaplain.
Stockland Green Methodist Church is one of thirteen churches in the Birmingham Sutton Park Circuit which is in the Birmingham District. Our minister also has pastoral care of Erdington Methodist Church and Witton Methodist Church with whom there has been a long historic connection.
Enquiries about weddings, baptisms and services may be made to the Minister or any other aspect of the life of our church to any of the stewards.
Stockland Green Methodist Church has a congregation of 130 members the majority of whom are Afro-Caribbean.
Witton Methodist Church has 26 members many of whom are from Montserrat.
Each church has activities for young people on a Sunday and all are welcome.
